Aina Haina Hale

A project like this doesn't come together by accident. When this client came to us to design and build the millwork for their entire home, we knew exactly what it would take. A whole-home millwork package, covering the kitchen/kitchen island, pantry, entertainment center, bathroom vanity, and a custom beam, requires a level of coordination that goes well beyond the shop. Every piece has to feel like it belongs to the same family, and when you're working across that many areas, that starts with the material itself. We hand-selected the veneers on this project which meant ordering large quantities and sifting through the color, grain, and character to carry seamlessly from one space to the next. The cabinet design was a collaboration. The client was drawn to a thin shaker profile, and together we landed on something intentional: the stiles and rails finished slightly darker than the center panel. It's a subtle detail that adds depth and dimension without announcing itself
